Taking the Wins

Today we made some progress on the parking lot, drainage plan, and sidewalk! We also were approved for our inside permit to begin the build out! So exciting you guys! It feels like we are close to so many things clicking together and taking off. I realize there are still setbacks around the corner, but I'm trying to celebrate the wins when they come!

The surveyor and engineer are working hard to make us a dry detention pond that will not remove trees or be too large. I am so thankful they were willing to meet us on the property today and work with us on a new plan. The town is going to allow us less parking spots given that we're not utilizing the garage square footage like we'd originally planned- and every little bit we can shrink from the parking lot will help costs all around. We're also working on the 10 foot wide sidewalk out front that will connect to the Big 4 Trail. This will be such a great thing for our town and our customers- that they'll have the option or riding their bike or walking to Hattie's- as well as driving and parking!

We have a little over a week left here on Mainvest and I know we can hit our maximum raise! I cannot believe all the support you've shown us- we're so humbled by it. Thank you for cheering us on and believing in us!
