July Updates at Hattie’s

I can’t believe it’s been two months since my last update! I don’t even know how I’d sum up all that has happened other than we are busy & moving forward!

There are a hundred little details to get us to opening day, and Mario & I are working very hard to get Hattie’s doors open.

We are hoping to be coming to the end of all the red tape & that our construction delays will not put us past our goal of opening in September! I’ll try to be better about getting more detailed updates here.

• Our equipment is all ordered & it’s beautiful & so exciting! I cannot wait until we have our permit & can do the plumbing & electrical work for it all.

• The landscaping is coming along! I’ve planted mostly seeds or transplanted plants from our house or friends & family. In a few years I hope the house will be surrounding by an abundant amount of blooms.

• Excavating the parking lot will be happening very soon! Hopefully this upcoming week.

• Our website with our merchandise and coffee is almost ready & I can’t wait to start seeing some sales come through!

• I’ll be taking a serve safe course soon to get certified. Nailing down a plan for the food we’ll be serving & getting all my health department paper work in.

• The downstairs is really starting to feel like Hattie’s. Mario has been working hard & I cannot wait to share pictures!
